Later, arrive in Zlatibor, a popular mountain resort, and settle in for the evening.
Day 4·Serbia to Montenegro
Leave Zlatibor after breakfast and travel south through some of the Balkans’ most dramatic mountain scenery. The route leads through the Tara and Durmitor region, where deep valleys, forested slopes and highland landscapes shape the journey. Continue towards Montenegro and the Adriatic coast, arriving in the Bay of Kotor area by the end of the day. The evening is free to relax and enjoy the coastal setting.
Day 5·Perast, Our Lady of the Rocks, Kotor & Tirana
Begin the day in the baroque waterfront town of Perast, beautifully positioned on the Bay of Kotor. In the afternoon, travel south across the border into Albania and arrive in Tirana.
Day 6·Explore Tirana

Day 9·Skopje & Return to Belgrade
Begin with a guided sightseeing tour of Skopje, a city where Ottoman heritage, socialist-era architecture and recent monumental projects meet. See Macedonia Square, the Stone Bridge, Skopje Fortress, the Memorial House of Mother Teresa and the lively Old Bazaar. There is time to absorb the contrasting character of the capital before leaving North Macedonia. In the afternoon, return to Belgrade and check in at your hotel.

Practical questions about this tour
A few helpful details about the pace, transport and arrangements for this journey.
Show answers to frequently asked questionsHide answers to frequently asked questions
What is the travel pace like?
This is an active sightseeing tour designed to combine major cultural highlights with scenic travel through the region. Most days include regular walking, guided sightseeing and visits to historic sites, while some sections involve longer drives between destinations. The itinerary is structured to provide a balanced mix of organized activities and free time. Detailed daily distances, travel times and overnight stops are shown in the itinerary.
How much luggage may I bring?
Please bring a reasonable amount of luggage suitable for the duration of your tour. As a general guideline, each guest may bring one medium-sized suitcase or travel bag and one small day bag. For longer tours, we recommend using hotel laundry services where available rather than bringing excessive luggage. Your booking confirmation will include any specific luggage restrictions applicable to your departure or vehicle. We recommend keeping essential items, travel documents, medication and valuables in your day bag.
What type of vehicle is used?
The tour is designed for a maximum of 15 guests and is normally operated in a premium, air-conditioned Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minibus. For departures with fewer guests, a comfortable, air-conditioned van of an appropriate size may be used instead.
The vehicle is selected according to the final number of participants, while maintaining the same standards of comfort and service throughout the journey. Your luggage travels with you and is transported in the vehicle between destinations.
Are meals included?
The tour includes 10 meals, comprising 9 breakfasts and 1 lunch. Meals are generally served at the hotel or at carefully selected local restaurants, where applicable. The exact meal arrangements for each day are shown in the itinerary.
Any meals, drinks or services not specifically listed in the daily itinerary are not included. For other meals, your tour leader will be happy to recommend suitable local restaurants and dining options.
Can you accommodate vegetarian or special dietary requirements?
Please inform Victor Tours of any dietary requirements, allergies or food intolerances before booking, or as soon as possible afterwards. We will communicate your requests to the relevant hotels, restaurants and suppliers. While reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate dietary needs, specific products, menus or preparation methods cannot always be guaranteed, particularly during group meals or in locations with limited dining options.
Are departures guaranteed?
Yes. Scheduled shared-tour departures are guaranteed to operate with a minimum of one guest, subject only to exceptional circumstances beyond our reasonable control. This allows you to book with confidence, even when traveling independently.
The guarantee applies to the scheduled shared departure shown on this page. If you would prefer to travel on your own dates, with a private vehicle and guide, you can submit a request for a private tour.
Which hotels are used?
The hotels used depend on the selected package, availability, and the final arrangements for your departure.
We carefully select properties that meet the required category, location, and service standards.
If the originally planned hotel is unavailable, an equivalent hotel of the same category and comparable standard may be provided. Final hotel details are confirmed in the travel documents or booking information.
Can I arrive earlier or extend my stay?
Yes. You may enhance your holiday by arriving before the tour or extending your stay after it. We can assist with additional hotel nights, private airport transfers, and other arrangements, subject to availability.
Detailed options and applicable rates are provided in the Policies & general information section under Pre- & post-tour accommodation.
Please contact us before booking so that we can prepare the most suitable arrangement for your travel plans.
